How move-in rekeying works
1. Call or text (509) 703-6231. Tell us how many doors you have; we will quote it over the phone.
2. We come to you. Our mobile shop covers Spokane, Spokane Valley, and North Idaho — no need to pull locks off doors yourself.
3. Every lock, one new key. We rekey each exterior door and hand you fresh keys — matched to a single key wherever the hardware allows.
4. Old keys are dead. Whoever has a copy from the old owners, it no longer opens your house.
Frequently Asked Questions
Should I rekey or replace the locks on a house I just bought?
Rekey, in most cases. If your locks are decent quality and working smoothly, rekeying gives you 100% of the security benefit — old keys stop working — at a fraction of the cost of new hardware. We will tell you honestly if a lock is worn or low-grade enough to be worth replacing instead.
Can all my doors work on one key?
Usually, yes. If your locks are the same brand or use compatible keyways, we can key them alike so one key runs the whole house. Mixed brands can often be matched by swapping a cylinder or two — we will lay out the options on site.
What about the garage, mailbox, and shed?
Bring us the whole list — garage-entry doors, sheds, gates, and mailbox locks can all be rekeyed or replaced in the same visit. That is the point of doing it at move-in: one appointment, everything secured.
